What is eePLC?

Ever Elettronica ePLC is an easy, fast and accessible development environment (without the need for sophisticated programming knowledge), designed and produced for a series of stepper motor drives.
These drives for stepper motor, characterized by a synergistic use of single devices through innovative ways of interacting between the components, go beyond the usual concept of easy integration proposed by many suppliers of drives for stepper motors, PLCs, industrial PCs and other automation devices: these drives, in fact, solve problems and optimize the design and production of automatic machines with more added value for the manufacturer in terms of functionality, time to market and costs. Our competitors, thinking about the concept of “ease of integration” in the old way, are unable to completely solve the underlying problems of traditional distributed solutions consisting of PLCs, industrial PCs, stepper motor drives and other accessories.

Wizard

Labeling Module and the Labeling Setup wizard
The Realtime Labeling module implements the typical functions of a labelling head. In particular, it manages the typical signals of a labelling head with absolute precision:
- product presence acquisition (start)
- label gap acquisition (stop)
- synchronization of the label speed with the speed of the product and deposit of the label always in the same point, even during the acceleration and deceleration phases of the products conveyor belt (encoder).

By enabling the Labeling Realtime module, it is possible to create, through a simple wizard, the complete control cycle of a labelling head; in addition, through the eePLC Studio environment, it is possible to add the additional functions necessary for the application. The performances are:

  • maximum labelling speed up to 80m/min
  • label positioning error less than 1 mm
  • perfect synchronism between product speed and label speed
  • external encoder for speed and position reference of the product
  • buffer up to 16 products
  • programmable filter for product presence signal
  • programmable filter for the label gap signal

Module for the electric cams management

The Advanced Motion Module in drives with c1x9x configuration is integrated with the module for electric cams. Retrieved by the eePLC Studio IDE environment, this module allows the calculation and complete management of electric cams.
Therefore, through a simple interface window, with eePLC it is possible to program the motion of the cam you want and all the relative necessary parameters in a simple and quick way.


What are the advantages of EEPLC STUDIO IDE for stepper drives?

All drive systems with cxx9x firmware are easily programmable by the user via the eePLC Studio IDE programming environment. This Windows PC software allows you to integrate the PLC and stepper motor control functions in a single device.
